In my own honest opinion it is safe to use gomez peer. But still you need to consider protecting yourself against viruses coming from websites that is harmful to your computer. Gomez peer paid me many times already and I never had have any problems encountered running their client. Just use deepfreez if you really want total protection from viruses.
